II. National Graduate Student Symposium

SCOPE AND PURPOSE
The symposium covers scientific studies prepared by graduate students in the fields of Basic Islamic Sciences, Philosophy and Religious Sciences, and Islamic History and Arts. The aim is to publish the accepted papers, which will be presented in sessions chaired by faculty members, in full text. Through this, the symposium seeks to contribute to the academic world and to provide graduate students with experience in preparing and presenting papers.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Last Date for Abstract Submission: December 15, 2024
• Announcement of Accepted Abstracts: January 10, 2025
• Last Date for Full Paper Submission: February 28, 2025
• Symposium Date: April 11-12, 2025

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Researchers participating in the symposium must be enrolled in a graduate program in the field of Theology. All participants are expected to comply with the dates specified in the symposium schedule. Papers may be in Turkish, English, or Arabic.
Submitted works must be original and unpublished. Full-text papers will be screened using the Turnitin program, and those with a similarity rate exceeding 25% (excluding references) will not be accepted.
The abstract should be between 250-350 words and the full text between 2500-3000 words.
Abstracts must be submitted by December 15, 2024, and full texts by February 28, 2025, to baibuilahiyatsempozyum@ibu.edu.tr.
Papers must be prepared according to the template available on our website, and full texts should follow the ISNAD2 footnote citation style.

For confirmed participation, both the submission of the full text to baibuilahiyatsempozyum@ibu.edu.tr by February 28, 2025, and its acceptance by the scientific committee are required.
All communication with participants will be conducted via baibuilahiyatsempozyum@ibu.edu.tr.
