“Uzbekistan Travel Notes” Event Held

An event titled “Uzbekistan Travel Notes”, featuring Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kılıç Aslan Mavil and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hikmet Yağlı Mavil from our faculty as speakers, was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at the BAİBU Diyanet Youth Center. In the program, which attracted significant interest from attendees, the speakers shared their impressions from their visits to Uzbekistan. They provided information about historically and culturally significant sites and emphasized the importance of these lands for the Islamic world. At the end of the program, traditional Uzbek pilaf was served to the audience. This was followed by a book raffle, during which the winners were presented with their gifts. The event concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere of conversation.
